Day out with jan to celebrate her 20th bday.. Not a very good day though due to the heavy rain.. We got drenched and splashed and ignored by buses and taxis.. Literally cursing and swearing lol..

By the time we finally got onto a cab.. We looked damn cui alr.. Wet hair + wet clothes + wet shoes.. 狼狈us..

Reached cineleisure but the movie she wanna watch is sold out.. =((.. But at least our lunch is nice.. With the one and only bao ka Liao waiter lol..

After dat walked around cineleisure coz the rain was still super heavy.. Stopped by this candy making shop and watched.. Amused much..

After spending 3 hours in the small cineleisure we finally can't take it.. Bought an umbrella and we braved the rain.. Literally screaming and laughing under the umbrella lol.. And we were actually excited hahaha..

Successfully reach the Mrt station but shoes cui.. Bought myself a pair of killer heels at suntec..

Freedom is sweet!!! Time to give myself a well-deserved break after mugging so hard for exams!! This is the first time in my 21 years that i mug soooo damn freaking hard *sweats*.. hopefully my results won't be too bad! if not i really dunno how chiong more i can be for the next sem.. =/

Spring cleaning my hall room now coz really alot things.. will be staying here for a few days for hall stuffs and meetings with frens!! sis will be back this friday yay! den we'll be off to bali for 4 days yippie!!! ^^.. cant wait!!

alright alright i gotta get back to cleaning coz i haven even finish clearing the top shelf.. =X

back at home now.. listening to fireworks popping away for some reason.. i like to watch fireworks.. esp when they are just directly above me.. awesome much..

anyway.. is doing hw0202 report now.. getting kinda bored and sick about this assignment.. 3 more assignments to hand in.. den i'll be in constant mug mode for the upcoming sem exams next month..

listening to tvxq's songs while doing work now.. reminds me of poly life.. haha.. and i really miss them.. although not so into their news anymore.. but well.. still love them deep in my heart~ haha.. seeing them as 2 different groups still makes me feel sad.. =(

thoughts still flood me.. but i dunno how to put it in words.. so ya.. i'll be off to continue my assignments..

yeps.. last mid term paper over! now onli left with a few assignments and exam is next month! phew.. glad that the quizes are all over for now.. been really stressed up especially for this week.. struggling to study for BS204 quiz and get the report draft done all in such a short time.. really feel the weight and anxiety last night.. feel so damn vex..

but ah.. BS204 quiz is quite alright and managed to get a report draft done and submitted today.. still not done wif the ppt slides though.. but should be fast.. luckily tmr's presentation is just an informal one to check our progress on the assignment and get some feedback for our final report.. at least is a more relax one..

really cant leave work or revision to last min anymore.. like seriously.. all these all over again will definitely kill me.. feel so tired now..

but ah today is quite a happy day! mum and dad came over for my tuition grant signing this afternoon and they bought lunch for me.. hee.. showed them around my sch after the signing and they went off while i went for lecture.. so tired that i almost dozed off a few times during lect..

out with jess and swi to meet jan at sp for dinner!! we've been craving for sp's food like for weeks and finally get to have it after 8 months of not eating in sp! sp's food really rocks (unlike NTU)! chat and bitch and laugh as usual and we were so noisy (esp me and jan) hahaha.. but it's awesome hanging out like this again.. lots of jokes and nonsenses.. too bad bird and yr cant join us this time.. called yr and kacau-ed him for awhile haha..

and we all agree that it's been too long since we had a shopping outing! lets do it after our sem exam girls! or mayb some photo shooting session again! =D

alright.. i better go finish up my ppt slides so i can rest early tonight.. really can feel the tiredness now..

it's raining now~~~ hee somehow i feel happy about it.. ^^.. rain some more!! haha

still busy with the ongoing sch work.. but at least cleared some alr (not alot though).. lots still need to be done.. and more to revise.. jia you!!!

went for thurs lecture today (after like a few weeks not going).. and jess brought buttercakes made by her mum! YUM~ i've got kinda sick with all the dry biscuits in my larder so it's really nice to have it! ^^

and i got new addiction to almonds and pistachios! the almonds tasted very bland at first and i feel like i'm a hamster chewing on the nuts like this.. but actually almonds have a natural sweet taste and i'm really addicted now~

tues was my hall og's bbq night.. it was fun!! so happy to have everyone there and chatting and joking around and laughing.. the feeling is really nice.. =) .. and the good food!! too bad i din get to enjoy most of it coz i gotta go for jam band practice.. max sad.. =((((((

jam band practices are awesome! i always like jamming.. since the time i went jamming wif my sec sch jam band members.. ROCK IT!! XD

and i'm soooo gonna get iphone 4s!! hope it's not too exp though.. =/ .. and RIP steve jobs.. i guess Apple wont be the same without u anymore.. =(

stress ttm

just the end of 2nd month since uni starts and i have to say I'M REALLY STRESSED!!!!

assignments deadline all reaching soon (VERY SOON) and 4 quizes within 3 weeks!! WAT IS THIS!! i usually cope with stress quite well but i seriously feel the weight now.. ahhhhh.. save me.....

new page on my calendar is slowly filling up with activities again.. other than the dates of assignments deadlines and CAs.. still got hall events (mainly).. but at least i enjoy going hall events and outings.. the only bad thing is dat it eats up my time for sch work.. =(

on the side note.. i survived UC!! damn tiring at first.. almost died at the first station plus the jogging.. and i dropped out during one of the jogs coz stomach damn pain.. =/ .. luckily the stations after dat more relaxed than the first one (still quite tiring la)..

it lasted all the way from afternoon till night.. had jelly legs but is not the worst dat i experienced.. supper at city harvest den back to hall to rest.. still managed to get my stinky clothes washed and hanged before i collapsed on my bed..

personally i think UC is really meaningful.. it really strengthens the team bonding.. and like wat they say "next time during training, whenever u think u're very tired and feel like giving up, think back of UC, tell yourself nothing can be worse than this and if u can complete UC, u can complete the training".. i find this very true..

i especially like the games they have for us in the morning before the tough part starts.. coz everyone was kinda dreading it (at least it is for me, other ppl might feel excited lol).. and the games really lighten the mood of everyone.. =)

and i think i had slight food poisoning since tues? woke up at 2am plus the next day morning and vomited my dinner out.. the whole day was kinda wasted coz i was just lying on my bed resting.. until now still have stomach upsets.. sien.. faster recover before sch resumes!!

k la.. i better go back to studying now.. as usual have been slacking my days over.. =X

so fast the 6th week of uni life has alr passed.. i must say time really pass quite fast nowadays.. it's like after awhile another friday comes again.. deadlines of assignments are nearing.. and there are quite a few CAs next month.. =(((

dat aside.. today has been a productive day.. submitted the first assignment in uni.. hopefully can get good grades =X .. got our personal best record in finishing practicals.. which is half an hour (we just get faster and faster!).. haha.. as usual we were the first to leave the lab..

reached back hall and started to listen to ytd's recorded lecture.. went RELUCTANTLY for training.. but training today was ok la.. not so xiong.. had 2 sparring sessions after training oso.. one is wif stella.. i used to think she very fierce.. but today get to chat wif her.. realize actually she's very nice and cute.. haha.. like wat nicholas say.. both of us are very alike.. quiet quiet sit one corner.. look very fierce.. but when talk to us we are like typical blur girls.. haha..

say light contact sparring.. end up she kicked so hard (i think it's her habit).. so i oso go full contact.. wooh! long time din spar like this liao.. is nice.. =) .. even though i got a few bruises after dat..

hanged out at training ground for awhile and do some kicking after dat.. they jio me to go for supper.. tommy and nicholas jio me go clubbing oso.. but considering my pile of work to do.. i din join them.. instead came back to hall to eat cup noodles (damn poor thing).. haha..

next week is gonna be another busy week.. tutorial group meetings to discuss assignments.. music shopping (i'm gonna enjoy this haha).. and ntutkd's UC.. may have some other activities coming up oso.. but after dat is recess week.. can rest for one week and catch up wif sch work..

now is 12.40am alr.. i was planning to sleep early.. but i'm not tired now.. =X .. tmr wanna go back earlier..

ahhh.. think of the assignments jiu siennnnn.. but nothing i can do about it.. haiz..

long-lecture intolerance

i realize nowadays i really have no stamina for long lectures anymore.. i cant stay focused.. and i seriously hate the feeling when i flip back and see there are still many slides to be covered.. i can literally feel the dread..

i'm glad i din go for the lecture today.. i've been using hours to listen to the recorded one.. and i'm still not done yet.. i think it's coz i basically copied every single word he said.. lol.. even though some words i really cant make sense.. and of coz the main reason is becoz i kept side tracking.. XP

anyway.. i had enough of the lecture.. my head is gonna smoke soon and i cant stay focused anymore.. i think it's partly coz i'm tired also.. so yep.. i'll continue the rest tmr..

just went to sign up for hall sports.. and i'm oso planning to join hall sub comm.. well.. i can alr foresee a very very busy me.. just gotta make sure i dun neglect my studies..

tmr will be skipping all lectures.. hopefully they will upload the lectures.. whole day at room tmr.. gotta make full use of it.. and try my best not to side track.. lol

i wish i dun have to face lappie so much.. but there are so much work that requires either computer applications or online research.. =/ .. my lappie had never work so hard before in its life.. haha.. stay strong lappie.. love ya~ lol

starting to feel the stress

yes dat's right.. sch work are starting to pile up.. here's a list of work due:

1) HW0202 research proposal
2) HW0202 article critique
3) BS201 video assignment
4) BS203 powerpoint
5) HW0202 report

and there's gonna be quite a few CAs next month..

plus tkd trainings.. and Ultimate Challenge at the end of this month.. next week is hall sports recruitment drive.. haven decide wat to sign up yet.. but will try out a few things (for the sake of points to get hall)..

hall dnd last night.. it was quite good although most girls were having a hard time deciding wat to wear (the theme is mafia u see).. i was standing in front of the wardrobe mirror for half an hour i think.. trying on different clothes to try to suit the theme.. and i must say i have very limited dresses.. should get more someday.. haha..

the pageants performances are very nice.. sweet and cute and funny.. food was nice too~ hee.. the tix for dnd is very exp though.. $50.. T.T.. but luckily they got buses chartered to and fro the place and hall.. at least save the cab fare.. and seeing dat they have nice food.. i would say it's quite worth it.. =)

back to sch stuffs.. i'm starting to dread lectures more and more.. i dunno why.. but i just feel very sien during lectures.. esp looking at the notes.. it gives me a never-ending-lecture feel.. and i seriously dun like thursday lectures.. feel like a waste of my time sitting in the lecture theater for hours listening to lecturers who are either talking at lightning speed or mumbling to themselves..

lab sessions are still alright.. our group is almost always the first to finish (like wat jessie says : fast and furious).. with the combined power of label girl and parafilm girl and streaking girl = unbeatable.. MUAHAHAHA

anyway.. back in jb now.. and i collapsed on my bed for 4 hours coz i was really tired after continuously few days of late nights sleep.. dad ordered 3 pizza for dinner just now and i bought 2 cheese cakes from secret recipe.. hehe.. yummy food FTW!

and i realise i've been neglecting my camera for weeks.. simply too lazy to take it out and charge the batteries.. but i'll try to get some photos taken soon and blog them~

i realised i've been really quite slack for the past few weeks.. alot of things to be revised!! and i've been wasting alot of time.. =X

electives test in 2 days time.. and i'm just reading thru the 2nd time.. argh cannot so slack lers!! *knock heads*

lappie is my major distraction other than my usual side track daydreaming.. once the lappie is on = study gone (it rhymes haha!)

alot of work piling up and i can feel the stress alr.. and time flies.. it's alr the fifth week of sch now.. and soon we're gonna have our mst! o.O

have quite a few topics to blog in mind but well.. i guess they'll have to wait.. at least after this test is over and i'm done wif my research proposal..

anddddddddddddd hall events and ccas are like a many onli~ seriously cannot afford to slack so much liaos!

it's been a long time since i last blogged.. i wonder if anyone bothers to come and check for updates anymore.. hah..

it's alright though.. mayb sometimes i dun wan too many ppl to know how i'm feeling deep inside.. this is me.. alot of things only me myself know.. not even the closest friend.. not even a family member.. not even my partner.. mayb i dun wanna exposed the inner side of me too much.. dat's y i kinda like tumblr now.. coz not many ppl follow me.. and i dun type texts there.. i just reblog.. it's addictive though.. gotta have some self control..

even sometimes i feel insecure typing out random things in twitter.. it feels weird to know ppl are silently reading ur thoughts.. mayb making wild guesses about u.. but hey.. i gotta have some place to express my feelings.. if not i'm gonna explode even though i'm good at containing them..

many things happened.. i'm officially an undergraduate now in NTU.. coping with the piling-up workload.. joined NTUTKD and (hopefully) get into MJ hiphop.. might be joining hall band (if they want me and i'm good enough) or mayb play sports for hall.. yea.. busy busy.. gotta make sure i secure a place in hall next year.. and i dun wan any other hall.. i wan hall 12 back.. hall 12 rocks man!

staying in hall is awesome.. now dat i dun have to complain about travelling so far everyday (now is always jessie and bird complaining).. i made awesome frens who bought me vitC tablets and made liang teh for me when i was sick.. i have meal buddies everyday and sometimes we hanged out to have our usual nonsenses.. went clubbing a couple of times and it was really fun.. and we went chevron for sing k session last week.. awesome much..

of course studying is more important.. i'm trying hard to cope with school coz there's really alot to study.. and tests are coming soon.. and with my short attention span i find it rather hard to stay focused on my revisions..

and i miss global pets terribly.. my colleagues and the cute dogs.. really miss them so so much.. last week almost had a chance to go sing k with them but i got lessons in the morning.. fang fang is going uni and i was really hoping dat i can join them.. but.. too bad.. i hope we get the chance to go tgt again.. miss being crazy with them..

i realised i really like hanging out with frens.. enjoying their company even though most of the time i dun talk much.. and i feel really happy and lucky to have many frens who care alot about me.. =)

like i said.. many things happened other than wat i just mentioned.. and again.. like i said.. i'm not sure if i'm ready to write everything here in my blog.. not sure if i wan ppl to know completely how i feel.. to know my deepest thoughts.. i got to say the person i trust the most is myself..

for now.. i just wanna do my best in studying and commit well in cca (esp in MJ if i managed to get in).. of coz also securing my place in hall.. i really dun wish to have to bring my things back and travel everyday or get into some lousy hall.. although alot of times i side-tracked.. i hope i have the sense to pull myself back in time..

actually i still have alot things to update.. but i think i should focus on my datasheets for now.. so till next time then~

2 years anniversary

celebrated our 2 years anni with a 2-day trip at kl.. this is the first time dear went to kl..

took midnight bus at larkin terminal and off we went to kl.. slept a couple of hours in the bus and reached kl terminal around 4am plus.. both of us were very tired alr..

the new bus terminal is very very big now.. they want to make it looks like an airport we think.. the place is seriously big.. unlike the old pudu bus terminal..

still very early so we planned to take a short nap on one of the long benches in the terminal (lots of ppl were doing dat too).. but then we just couldn't fall asleep.. =.= .. so we started exploring the place (in case we got lost when we are going back)..

they have these touchscreen kiosks (which doesn't really help) in the terminal dat dun really give useful information except for the maps.. we were hungryy (and there weren't even some 24-hour mac or kfc there)! GRRRR

we end up settling our early breakfast at 7-11.. brought 2 cup noodles..

so little.. like so kelian.. lol..

after eating we started to find our way out.. by the time one hour plus had already passed (although we have no idea wat were we doing during dat time).. took us quite some time to finally got out from the building and found our way to the lrt station..

the jacket dear is wearing is my anni present to him~ he say got designer look.. lol

reached Hang Tuah station and made our way to the monorail station to our first stop - Bukit Bintang..

some roadside stalls selling breakfasts along the pedestrian walk..

it's been a long time since i last came to kl..

started walking around to find a nice and cheap hotel.. we did research abit before this but din book.. asked quite a few hotels but not very satisfied with the price or looks.. and we finally settled at this hotel - Beltif Hotel with rm105 per night..

the hotel is relatively new and they were having a promotion.. i kinda like the look of it.. pretty and clean.. plus i was really tired alr (which was the main reason).. so we made our payment and went to take a nap..

after recharging ourselves.. we head for our first stop - Times Square!

head straight to Wendy's for lunch.. ordered 2 set meals and another fries (coz we forgot our set got fries alr) =.=

our lunch of the day.. we feel so carbo-hydrated after the meal.. chilli cheese fries is nice! =D

walked around and saw a few interesting shops.. somehow angry birds and plants vs zombies merchandises are everywhere in kl..

after finish walking around in times square we head to our next stop - Midvalley.. one of msia's largest shopping centre..

i must say kl ktm sucks!! waited super long for the train.. i think almost half an hour?? so inefficient! GRRR

the platform was full of ppl by the time the train comes.. and the whole place looks so dark and scary.. lol

reached Midvalley and there was this Pirates of The Carribean gallery sorta thing..

can go and take photos there.. the decos all quite nice..

went to this big pet shop at midvalley as well! i used to love this pet shop when i was little~

there got lots of cool pets there! we saw a pair of love birds that are absolutely pretty and cute! so feel like buying them back.. =((

they got puppies and kittens too.. hamsters and mice and rabbits..

we saw this mouse eating another one! omg la.. =((

and this hamster is so so fat!!!! so cuteeeee!!!

they even got tarantulas!!

and scorpions..

and even frill dragons!!

they got hedgehogs and ferrets and milk snakes as well but we din get to take a photo of them (photo taking is actually not permitted) XP.. they got lots of fishes for sale too.. a freaking cool pet shop i must say..

we left midvalley around 7pm plus and went back to bukit bintang to search for our anniversary dinner restaurant.. dear actually researched and we decided to go to a western restaurant called Izzi Restaurant nearby bukit bintang.. but we just couldn't find the place! it was raining quite heavily summore..

and we finally found it! actually we just found the menu board with the restaurant name on it with the menu from another restaurant.. so we went up to see if it's the right one.. the guy there told us the restaurant there is called Jaam Jaam and he has never heard of Izzi Restaurant before..

so we went down again feeling puzzled.. den we noticed actually the shop right in front of us was Izzi Restaurant.. just dat it was closed down alr.. we can still see the inside of the restaurant thru the blinds.. wonder y it was closed down.. we were so looking forward to it de.. =((

so back we went to sungei wang and think where to settle our dinner.. by the time we were drenched and tired and hungry alr.. and it was 8pm plus le.. most of the restaurants will be closing soon.. =((

had fun for dat 2 days! =D dear gave me a pair of earrings from sk jewellery that is absolutely pretty!! love it! thanks dear dear~ =DD

shetland sheepdog is another one in my dogs-i-want list..

this is wat a shetland sheepdog pup looks like.. cute~

many ppl mistaken shetland sheepdog, rough collie and border collie together esp if they din see them before.. but they are easily differentiated by the size and color..

once again.. this is a rough collie..

and this is a shetland sheepdog.. the color is very similar.. but they differ alot in their size..

his name is cola.. a regular customer in nusa branch for grooming.. he is super cute and friendly.. he'll keep putting his paw on ur hand to shake hands.. so feel like bringing him back and have it as my own..

this is the common color for a shetland.. though black and white ones do exist.. they are pretty too..

note the size of a shetland.. a rough collie can fit just nice on the grooming table.. but a shetland can turn around and walk a few steps..

shetlands are small breeds close to medium.. although their long fur made them look medium.. rough collies are large breeds..

speaking of grooming table.. last fri nusa groomers were watching a video on youtube about a poodle that tried to jump across the table.. fell on the floor and died.. i was O.O when i hear about the news.. din watch the full vid and i dunno which pet shop it is.. but it's scary..

so fellow dogs who come for grooming.. pls do not attempt to jump from the grooming table.. no matter how pretty or handsome the dog opposite u may be.

the left one is Wind.. and the right one is Shadow.. they are our shop's dogs at bukit indah..

border collies are well known for their intelligence.. they are one of the few smartest dog breeds in the world.. and are highly trainable.. in fact.. Wind herself has won many trophies during a dog show not long ago wif alvin as her trainer..

this is another border collie of a customer at bukit indah few weeks back.. pity they din give her much training.. it's a waste of their intelligence..

border collie is now top in my list of dogs-i-want..

wanted to blog (i really mean it!) but transferring photos here and there is really too much work.. plus after a whole day's work i'm just too tired.. a few nights i just faint on my bed and sleep until next day morning.. i'll update next time! really!

work has been good so far.. took quite alot of photos but haven blog them up.. and i think i'm getting slimmer? (i think!) LOL.. coz everytime gotta carry those dog food and stocks in and out of the shop and also upstairs and downstairs.. i can really feel the strain in my leg muscles.. haha.. wonder wat's my weight now.. >.<

staff training exam this morning.. and i did ok? i hope so! haha.. a little bit of cheating but everyone did so too! =x .. gotta go early this sat again to go thru the answers all.. another day of waking up one hour earlier.. T.T

out wif my girls last thurs to rent our graduation robes.. and bird looks like harry potter when she tried the robe on! LOL.. pity no photo taking is allowed in the place.. took some photos and i'll post them up next time kkkkk~

no idea wat the title should be so yea.. no title again..

super busy at nusa today!! first time i work at nusa and there are almost 30 dogs for grooming today!! never seen the grooming list go more than number 25 on weekdays since i worked there.. and we have to stop accepting pets for grooming at 1pm.. really crazy..

and stock came in the evening (the time when lots of customers start swarming in) and got really super busy.. we almost cant finish arranging the new stock by today.. o.O

worse is we're short of sales staff now! becoz one idiot离店出走.. i wasn't working at nusa dat day.. was at bukit indah.. heard the story from colleagues.. dat frandy went out during lunch break and din come back.. da cong called him and he said he dun wanna continue work there alr.. seriously傻眼.. dowan continue work cannot say meh?! it's not like office ppl is gonna kill u or wat right.. summore if u say le at least u still can get half a month's pay.. like this jiu zao no money at all leh.. dunno wat he's thinking..

so now everyday except sunday we onli have 3 sales.. 1 person really makes a difference esp during those times when stock comes (even though usually frandy din do much work).. which is 3 times per week.. we are so busy until counter ppl and sometimes even clinic ppl came out to help us carry stock.. @.@.. and like i said customers always like to come during dat time.. =_=.. and dat time is also when many owners came to bring their pets home after grooming..

the situation is chaotic.. wif those haven-arrange stock lying everywhere on the floor.. us striding here and there to check prices and grab one of the two price tagging gun to tag the price den try to find space to squeeze in the new stock.. jumped up halfway arranging stock to serve customers.. going up and down the stairs to bring pets down for their owners.. and this is also the time when phones will keep ringing.. arghhh.. but well.. at least time pass faster like this..

and recently we got alot of new puppies for sale!

2nd.. he wanna cage up a husky.. hello??? u sure u wanna cage up a husky?? big dogs aren't meant to be caged up.. they need space to move.. it's much more better to at least tie him up somewhere than cage him right.. i understand dat u wanna cage him up when he's a pup so he wont walk everywhere.. but when he's grown up?? but den he said again.. "my frens all do dat".. HELLO?? are u an idiot? just coz ur frens do this u oso have to do this? do u go eat dog poo just coz ur frens do dat? pardon me but u sound like some immature kid..

the most annoying thing is he wanna act like some grown up even though he's just like almost 20? the way he talks.. seriously.. i feel like planting a punch right on the face.. the act-like-i-know-it-all attitude dat annoys me the most.. and wearing a shirt writing "Bamboo Village" which i presume is his working place is not making him look any cooler.. disgusting idiot..

i sincerely hope ths husky wont be his.. he's making me wanna buy the husky for myself.. rather than let dat idiot have him.. but the husky is too exp la! rm2k plus.. y are u so expensive!!! ARGHHH

and i kinda gave the wrong information today.. which left me feeling kinda uncomfortable and unhappy for quite awhile.. but well.. learn from mistakes! i need to get more knowledge! rarrrr

today.. i'm gonna blog about an organisation..

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E).. also known as 希望护生园 in chinese..

H.O.P.E is a non-profit organisation that adopts and take care of stray dogs and cats.. from around 20 stray dogs and cats when it was just established at 2008.. the number of strays have expanded until 500 over now.. which is not easy because the expenses is very high..

many of the adopted dogs were found abused and having serious wounds and infections.. if not for the immediate medical treatment.. they would have died.. unnoticed..

there are many stories and photos of these abused dogs on their page..

a dog is still a life.. i dunno how some ppl can be so cruel..

Jia Jia auntie is the founder of this organisation.. and she is a regular customer in our clinic.. she just came today wif 2 batches of stray dogs for vaccination..

first batch of dogs in the morning.. there are 9 of them.. including 2 puppies in the pet carrier on the bench..

2nd batch of dogs came in late afternoon.. i managed to take a few photos..

one vaccination cost rm55.. and dogs need to be vaccinated a few times in their life.. just like humans.. and every dog is castrated.. so u can imagine how high the expenses is to take care of all these strays.. Jia Jia auntie even sold her house to support part of the expenses..

of coz.. being a non-profit organisation.. Jia Jia auntie is unable to earn so much money to keep the strays healthy and well fed.. 120kg of dog food is needed EACH DAY! and dog food aren't cheap..

so.. Global Pets and Breeder Line put in their effort to support H.O.P.E by having this promotion..

for every bag of 20kg Breeder Line Classic Dog Food that u bought (which is rm133) at any branch of Global Pets.. by adding another rm7 .. u get to buy another 20kg bag of dog food and donate it to H.O.P.E.. u can choose to either donate one bag and keep one for self use.. or u can simply donate both..

weekends at bukit indah branch was.. BORING.. haha.. work is very slack there.. not as many customers as nusa bestari but still! the fun part is the swimming pool!

japanese spitz! there are 2 who are a couple.. this is boy boy.. and his wife is mimi! they are currently boarding at bukit indah branch.. they are pretty!!

and i taught a dog to swim! result was my half body was soaked and i gotta borrow groomers' fur dryer to dry my clothes.. lol

the fun part about bukit indah is there're mostly big dogs! like golden retrievers, doberman, pitbull and husky! i played wif a husky!! so happy.. hee.. nusa bestari are mostly toy dogs which i dun really fancy..

this is not the husky i played wif.. this one name is Wolf! cool eh? the one i played wif is Frosty.. though i find the name abit weird for a dog.. i used to think dat if i ever have a husky i'm gonna name it Lightning! hehheh..

but still.. sales there is nothing much.. being there makes me lack the motivation to do work.. and ppl there learn much lesser..

sometimes i'll go to the puppy display and play wif the puppies there.. there's this white terrier who always give me puppy eye!

seeing them all caged up and waiting to be bought actually makes me sad.. wat's gonna happen to them if nobody's gonna buy them?? and wat if the owner is not responsible to it after it is bought?? i really hope they will all find a good owner..

been reading alot recently! esp national geographic and readers digest.. mum subscribe readers digest so there're many copies at home.. quite alot of interesting articles so it's my new like!

sg-ed ytd and today.. went to buy dear's anniversary present this morning.. din used too much time coz i more or less had in mind wat i wanna buy le.. i hope dear likes it! =x

one more month and it's our 2 years~! hee.. after dat one more month again and dear is free from the green monster!!! RARRR!! yay!!!

we're planning to go for a one day trip somewhere but it's not finalised! cant spend too much oso coz gotta save for our big trip! =DD

first job! first sand art!

dat's right! i finally start working for the first time in my life! LOL

it's at a pet shop.. Global Pets.. the branch i'm working on weekdays is a medical centre..

this is the place! it's huge.. the left side is shop.. right is clinic.. upstairs got puppy display.. cats and dogs boarding.. as well as grooming services..

working as sales there.. but get to handle alot of pets everyday.. and i never know that there's at least 10 plus pets coming for grooming everyday! not to mention that the clinic is always busy too! but dat's not wat i'm in charged with..

have nice colleagues there too! and i became their english teacher coz my english is the best among them.. LOL..

and there's a whole lot to learn bout pet products! there're pet food for dealing with diabetes, obesity, kidney problems, stones in the body, skin problems, mobility etc.. the priority of choosing a product for any pet is first their age.. den size.. den associated problems.. u'll be amazed by the variety of products and their uses.. most of the customers leave the shop with 100 plus 200 bucks of stuffs just for their pets!

sometimes i'll go to the puppy display place and play with the puppies there (with the glass between la).. took some photos of a few of them..

parents came during my first day of work to deliver dinner for me.. haha.. rained me wif questions about the job scope there..

legs are aching after the whole day of work.. and always quite tired.. no energy to online oso le.. but looking forward to webcam wif dear during saturday!! =DD

will be working at another branch during weekends.. which is a pet resort.. will update when i start working there~!

few weeks back dear and i went out shopping and we passed by this sand art place.. i've never play sand art before.. and i always wanted to play since i was little (so poor thing right).. and dat day i finally get to play!! =DD

lazy to think of a title so yea..

dinner with YR and girls (except for lazy Swi!) last thurs.. almost couldn't make it coz have to wait for a phone call.. luckily they called in the morning..

met jan first at je den we went to city hall pass time.. walked aimlessly and chatting.. updating each other.. tried her luck at the capsule machine but got a winnie the pooh instead of a tinker.. better luck next time~

after dat we went to jessie's house to chill and wait for 7pm dinner at 85.. idiot jan lead us to the wrong section and we were there shouting for jess.. luckily we haven ring the doorbell or wat.. will be damn paiseh..

reached jess's house and we made ourselves at home.. lol.. play itouch ipad and help ourselves wif chocolates and coke.. easily-entertained guests.. (Y)

Fishball! and we immediately got hooked up! the graphics are too cute! =D

played till it's time and 3 of us walked to 85.. waited damnnnn long for others.. like half an hour.. the 2 hungry girls kept complaining.. YR and bird finally reached and went to order food for everyone..

our table was super full when all the food came.. bbq stingray.. chicken wings.. orh lua.. satay.. din dare to eat too much coz gonna weigh in for sunday's competition.. =(( .. but still.. had a nice meal!

after the main dishes we just changed to another table to have desserts! (coz our table was really too messy).. chit chat awhile den yr drove us to tampines.. jokes as usual on the way that got us laughing like sillies.. played monopoly deal at coffee bean for around one hour before we decided to call it a day.. dear was there waiting for me.. =)) .. and we took direct bus back to admiralty..

as i was still dangerously at the brim of my weight cat.. i've been very hardworking in jogging for the next 2 days (just the next 2 days!) before my competition day.. drank very little bit of water to cut down water weight..

worst is.. the weighing in was right before going in to waiting area.. and my bout number was like 44.. =_=.. waited the whole morning and it wasn't till afternoon my number was called.. i din have any food except for a banana and a few sips of water the whole time! and my first day of girl's best fren is definitely not making things better..

first match was like shit.. brain was not clear.. and a few times i just walked in and let her score.. argh! although won by sudden death.. i wasn't not happy at all.. luckily final match was much better.. and i got my 3rd gold in IVP.. =D

dear accompanied me not eating for the whole half a day until the weighing in was over.. he bought chocolate waffles, cupcorn and drinks for me after dat.. thanks dear dear.. i noe u were very hungry oso but dun wanna eat in front of me when i cant eat.. *muaksz* ^^

the whole event was quite delayed and by the time prize giving ceremony started it was 7pm plus alr.. took my medal and went back before the whole ceremony ends coz i gotta go back jb..

had mac wif dear as dinner at 10pm.. tried the grilled chicken burger meal and it is really nice!!! 8D .. abit exp but the burger is big.. we shared another mcspicy also and was bloated after dat..

went for interview for my job the next day morning.. if there are no problems.. i'll be working in a pet shop! largest in JB with 5 or 6 branches around in JB alone.. hopefully the person will contact me soon to notify when i can start working.. moneyyyyy! $_$

been playing this new game wif dear recently..

God Eater Burst!

some sort like monster hunter (we still like monster hunter more!) but more anime type.. wat drew me to start playing is the variation of customizations for the characters.. lots of pretty clothes also.. lol..

but we found dat alot monsters copy movements and looks and even names from monster hunter.. monster hunter OWNS.. muahahaha..

so.. officially an alumni in sptkdc now.. dunno when's the next time i'll go training there again.. but dun think it'll be too soon since i gotta work here.. thanks to all the coaches and teammates who trained me and cheered for me during my match.. u guys rock.. =) .. i'll go down whenever i can! =D

results were out ytd.. not really happy wif it.. esp my cumulative.. but nothing i can do now.. just hope dat i can be successfully enrolled into ntu.. =/

went to CWP wif dear ytd.. he bought me a new baby eeyore.. ^^.. i bought another 3 hairbands and good deals from bodyshop! bought a glossing hair serum (which is under 30% discount).. hand cream dat reminds me of ITP days wif jan.. and 2 limited edition body butter with the price of $9.90 each only!!

and i so wanna buy skechers shape ups!! the one dat caught my eye dun have my size currently.. wanna go search for it! hopefully they'll restock soon.. i really wan one!!

ok.. this is a post to those who wanna apply for Singapore PR yet not sure about the details.. i just went to ICA today and asked..

firstly.. if u do not have any form of permit.. and is in sg purely by passport.. there's NO WAY u can get the PR.. dun even have to think about it actually..

if u're a student under sg student pass.. unless they send out a letter of recommendation to u.. u cannot apply for it.. worse is.. they do not send out the letter anymore.. so in conclusion.. ppl under student pass cannot apply for PR.. =/

next.. if u're under work permit.. this is not eligible for PR application.. u must at least have an employment pass.. which is a higher level of work permit.. only then u can apply for it..

to get the employment pass.. u must have someone willing to employ u and help u with the application.. and employment pass is not easy to get like work permit.. there are certain criteria dat u have to meet.. which is based mainly on ur monthly income..

there are 4 types of employment pass.. P1, P2, Q1 and S pass.. to qualify for P1 pass.. ur monthly income must be at least $7000.. $3500 for P2.. $2500 for Q1 and $1800 for S pass.. but starting from July 1.. the income requirement will be higher.. which is said to "keep pace with the local professionals labour market.. noting that the salaries of singaporeans have increased in recent years due to a tight labour market"

so the new qualifying salaries for the employment passes are $8000 for P1.. $4000 for P2.. $2800 for Q1 and $2000 for S pass..

only after u get ur employment pass u can apply for SPR.. and there's no guarantee that u'll get it.. judging from the situation that sg government is limiting PR status given to foreigners year by year..

if u're not under any sort of student pass or work permit or employment pass.. it is ILLEGAL for u to work in singapore.. and not many employers wanna hire foreigners under student pass..

i looked up at MOM website.. and have some findings..

Foreign students in Singapore are not allowed to work during term time or vacation time unless they are granted Work Pass exemption. The Training Work Permit, the Training Employment Pass or the Work Holiday Programme must be applied for foreign students who wish to take up any work.

for foreign student on vacation:

A Work Pass is not required for a foreign student who is:

14 years of age or above;
On vacation; and
A full-time matriculated or registered student in one of the following schools or institutions: (ok it's a long long list so i wont be typing out everything here)

ok so it sounds good here.. coz technically work pass is not required.. but there's a BIG BUT

Note: Foreign students from the above-listed schools/institutions who are waiting for their final examinations results or convocation are also granted work pass exemption. However, once they have completed their studies, and their student pass expires, they will no longer be exempted from work pass requirements.

my student pass will be expiring on 1 month's time.. no way ppl wanna hire u for 1 month righttt..

i should've start working during the last few vacations.. =(

Employers who wish to hire foreigners who have completed their studies with their respective schools/institutions, should apply for appropriate work passes on their behalf.

but few ppl will wanna go thru all the trouble to help.. unless u wanna work as a permanent staff.. and is not practical for those waiting for university intake..

if foreign students wanna work part time here:

A Work Pass is not required for a foreign student who:

Works a maximum of 16 hours a week;
Is under an industrial attachment programme conducted by his university or educational institution; and
Is a full-time matriculated or registered student in one of the following institutions:(the list is shorter but basically all polys and NUS NTU are covered)

but the same rule applies.. if the student pass expires.. u will need a work pass to continue working..

for those who are not going to further their studies so soon and are going to apply for a work pass.. here are some criteria:

The Work Permit (WP) is for foreigners who:

Want to work in Singapore; and
Earn a monthly basic salary of not more than $1,800.
Who are from an approved source country (depending on the sector which the worker is going to be employed in).

A prospective employer must first apply to the Controller of Work Passes for a WP before employing a foreign worker. All foreign workers must be at least 16 years old at the time of the WP application.

For Malaysian workers:

An employer who wishes to employ a Malaysian who already holds a valid WP in Singapore must apply for a separate WP:

Upon approval, the new employer will be issued an In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter stating when the new WP should be collected; and
The existing employer must cancel the worker's existing WP on or before the scheduled date of WP collection.

For those from other countries:

Non-Malaysian Work Permit holders generally fall into one of these three source country groupings:

NAS: North Asian Sources – Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea and Taiwan

NTS: Non-Traditional Sources – India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Philippines, Pakistan

PRC: People's Republic of China

Foreign workers from NAS/NTS/PRC cannot be in Singapore when their WP applications are being submitted.

Employers can only bring these workers in after:

Obtaining the In-Principle Approval; and
Furnishing a security bond of $5,000 per worker.

Security deposits can be made in the form of a Banker's Guarantee or Insurance Guarantee payable to the Controller of Work Passes.

there are LOTSSS of rules for the employers who wan to recruit foreign workers.. so it's not unexpected that most employers do not wanna employ foreigners..

holidays been almost 2 weeks.. and all i did is rot at home.. LITERALLY

yes there's a list of things to do in the holidays i've made even before exams end.. but well.. my lazy gene is expressing itself very strongly right now.. LOL..

went to natas travel fair with dear last week.. the cupcorn at expo is FREAKING nice!! OH MY GOD! best i've ever tasted!! even dear said it's nice.. for a non-cupcorn fan! YUM! 8D

need to save up alot now for the coming trip! it's gonna be great! =D

so now dat i need money.. i need a paying job! it's not dat i've not been job-searching and sending in resumes and emails.. but most of the jobs i wanted are open for singaporeans or PRs only.. disappointed.. but wat can i do.. =(

worst is dat my student pass expires in april.. means dat i'm officially a foreigner again.. without any documents dat can say i'm like in between foreigner and sgrean.. other than my student pass.. i think my express lane card is gonna expire tgt too.. since it depends on my stp.. den there's my sch ez link expiring.. no more concessions!!! ARGH!! i wan concessions!!!!

so yea.. i'm a 无业游民 now.. sadssssss..

now i've lowered my expectations of my job.. as long as i can get a decent paying job it's good enough for me.. =)

so far march has been filled with more and more activities.. dear's fren's wedding.. outing wif girls and yr.. training and TOC.. today is mum's bday.. din get her anything.. =( .. coz i really dunno wat to get her.. dad treated La Pasta for dinner.. and last night both of them bake a chocolate cake tgt.. =)

when i got money i'm gonna buy a massaging chair for both of them.. dad always wanted one.. =)

moral of the story: never get ur electric appliances tgt at the same time! like this u dun have to change all in one shot when they all break down and heart pain ur money! HAHA

ok finally updates!! gonna blog about things as early as cny! >.<.. will separate the posts if not everything clump tgt very messy.. kk like i said lastttttttt time dat i'm gonna blog bout the chinatown outing some other time.. first time here~

first time walking in singapore chinatown during pre-cny period.. is very de crowded! lots of stalls and ppl everywhere.. really got the cny feel..

high class chopsticks shop.. i find my house's chopsticks selling here with the price of $60 for 4 pairs.. think i should buy from pasar malam here and go sg open a stall.. $_$.. HAHA

walked for quite a long time before we went for dinner hunt.. went to the Maxwell hawker centre there and had yummy food!

went back jb around 8 plus..

the next few days were just preparing fyp presentation and studied abit.. sis went back on sunday den dear and i went over to his place..

monday was fyp presentation! our slot was 3.30pm and we reached sch around 10am? to practice and get ourselves ready before the big thing!

jan and i sprayed our hair dark color again for this presentation.. kinda troublesome but quite fun oso.. haha..

byang last min wanted to watch our rehearse den changed a few things like half an hour before our actual presentation! good job ah.. always like to do this kinda stuns..

was nervous before going in! but we did well.. hee.. ^^.. although we din get chosen for the distinction panel (which i'm actually kinda relieved).. i hope we can get good grades for dat~!

tmr's the day!! 2nd last paper of my poly life!

been studying immuno so much that i feel like puking when i'm reading those chim terms! =/ .. is at the re-reading stage now and i hope things will turn out fine tmr!

went to eliser and realise there's onli 1 past year paper! like WHAT??! and the last section's questions look tricky.. lots of thinking and own views.. hmm.. hope is not too chim!

right now i'm actually more worried bout clinical chemistry.. i haven cover much and there's not really enough time! plus i fail my mst.. =x .. even though it's 10% onli la.. so gotta do well for this last paper! den i'm freeeeeee!! woohoo!!

it's 1.14am now.. and i just switched on my lappie to blog here.. i told dear i'll sleep early.. but i just onli finished that chapter and feel like blogging..

been studying for exams non stop (well got stray abit here and there la).. right now my brain is quite saturated.. and my progress is slow.. =( .. could've start earlier if not for stupid fyp dat eats up so much of my time during the 3 quarters of my term.. DAMN U FYP! better give me a good grade! GRRR

one more day for me to finish up applied immuno.. den clinical chemistry.. they could've set the days further apart so we can have more time to study these 2 killer modules.. i know both the modules aren't that difficult.. but there's just too much info to remember.. even if i understand the concept and see the logic behind it..

i just hope i won't forget what i've been studying when i'm taking the paper.. =/

wanted to blog bout the events during my mia from my blog.. but well.. it's gonna take up lots of time.. so i guess i'll do it after exams..

and yea! things i'm gonna do after exams.. i already wrote out one list of it.. and it's growing.. i hope i can at least accomplish half of the list.. knowing i'll most probably nua my days over.. lol..

first priority is get a job! i hope it wont take long for me to get one.. seeing that they need time to go thru my application plus interviews whatnot.. summore i'm just gonna work for 5 months.. which i dun think many places wanna accept.. i wanna do sth related to what i studied.. so yea.. hope i'll get it soonish! $_$

celebrated dear's bday last friday.. glad that he enjoyed the day.. =) .. coz i din really have much time to plan the celebration (coz of stupid exams dat always fall on febs!).. will update all those events after examssss..

technically speaking this is not the first album i "bought".. coz i had already placed an order for the other one before but was waiting for the shipping.. this one is the first one that i physically got la.. lol

this album was bought during my bday celebration out at vivocity.. dear's mum gave me ang pow for my bday and i used it to buy this album.. so technically it is from her! haha..

din read through properly coz was kinda excited dat time and after dat i onli found out dat this album is in jap.. it is the compilation of all the jap singles TVXQ had till now..

consists of 3 cds

and 3 photobooks

at first i was kinda sad dat it was in jap.. coz i much prefer to listen to them singing korean.. but after listening a few times.. i realise it is not wat language, but their voices that make the songs nice.. no matter wat language.. their singing is still beautiful.. so now i dun reject it dat much alr.. but well i still prefer in korean.. lol

i bought this album as a bday gift for myself and I LOVE THIS ALBUM!! it is some sort like a reality show of them..

it consists of 6 dvds!! got their saipan trip.. couple talk.. theme talk.. MV.. and the making of the show and MVs as well..

i love watching this show! they're cute and funny in real life and it lightens my mood watching them fooling around.. i still haven finish watching even though i got it like last month! LOL.. in fact i'm still at disc 1.. dun wanna finish it too fast~! XD

just 1 more month to the last semestral exams in poly.. den i'm free!!! for a few months la.. before i start uni again..

poly already so shag.. i pray that i will not die in uni.. =x

speaking of which.. attended the ntu talk dat day.. and well.. i should say it is much discouraging.. felt demoralized after the talk.. and unfair as well.. and now i just hope that i can be successfully admitted to the course i wanted.. regrets of course.. for not starting to work hard earlier.. well.. at least i din start too late either..

will work hard if i got in successfully.. and i hope my lazy gene will not express itself dat often anymore..

had the class fyp presentation today.. even though the classmates did not raise much questions (coz i think everyone dun really get wat other ppl's projects are).. i'm glad that most ppl are able to attend.. thanks to dr simon tan too for forking out time to watch us present and give us useful feedbacks.. i realise new lecturers rocks.. like dr lai and him.. lol..

most of the lecturers alr finish our syllabus.. meaning no more lessons and more free time~ (Y) .. but well.. tests are coming up oso so.. yea.. sad.. lol

anyway.. been experiencing some disgusting ppl recently.. shall not name who is it..

first there is this guy without business integrity.. HELLO?! 安分守己做好你自己的生意..井水不犯河水..野心不要太大..对..钱是万能的..但是它不应该主宰你的生命..做人要有原则..不要到最后朋友都没得当..钱买不到朋友..

den there is this stupid shitass GRINNY.. i seriously cannot tolerate him anymore.. from the start of our project up till now.. dun care dun bother to ask how are we doin dun help.. ok.. den keep delay reveiwing our report when we chiong day and night to complete it hoping to hand it in on time.. "no need eat no need sleep ah?" .. 去死啦. we sacrifice our sleep to chiong out this report.. 5am plus still sit in front computer do the editing.. and now u talking about SLEEP wif us?! 你不觉得丢脸啊? if not for u keep delaying we would have edit it better and hand it in on time.

den finally report submitted.. now do presentation slides.. we faster start early and draft out a skeleton let u see wat to include and exclude and ask u to train us for the presentation.. wat u say??

i realise fyp really is the BIG MAJOR factor that i'm so dead this term.. coz after submission i feel like i got alot of time for other things now.. big burden down.. and i finally got time to study!! DAMN FYP! >=O

anyway.. rest alot during the weekend d.. so now back to work!

fyp report is finally submitted.. after weeks of late night chionging and editing.. finally our hard work is approved for submission.. *so touched*.. sobs..

taking a break for this weekend.. skipped training last night coz was really tired.. took a nap right after i reached home.. AND I WATCHED TV!!! it's been a long time since i last watch tv.. so so happy.. LOL.. den昏睡at10.45pm all the way till 9am this morning..

still got a few assignments to do and next week gotta start doin the presentation slides and practice for the presentation.. pray that we will do well.. lets chiong for our final presentation bananas!! RARR

went out this morning for some new year clothes shopping wif mum.. bought a pair of scholl shoes for my formal wear.. sharing the shoes wif my mum since our size is about the same.. but i think mostly she'll be wearing..

after dat out for lunch wif parents.. den we went to shop for年货..

tmr will be goin for a hair cut.. my hair looks like lion mane now.. super cannot take it..

still got some work to do.. but i'm taking a break today.. maybe will be studying abit later? depends.. mst results wasn't good.. so gotta pia for the rest of the term.. get a good gpa to pull up my cumulative!! RARRR

cny is reaching.. but tests and exams are right after dat oso.. so haiz.. other than go collect ang pow.. i think i'm gonna be emo-ing alone in a room to study..命苦啊~~~

it's 2.30am now.. and i'm still up doin fyp report.. few more editing to go.. and hopefully we can finally submit it officially by tmr.. dun wish to drag it till next week.. was suppose to rehearse for tmr's presentation.. but dun even have the time..

missing my love real badly.. been not seeing him for 4 days.. but it feels like 2 weeks..

miss him staying up late just to accompany me when i was chionging sch work.. keep asking me if i'm hungry and make food for me when i say i am.. looking at my screen every now and then to check whether i'm straying.. offer to help me in sch work.. wake me up when i told him i'm gonna lie down for 10 mins but in the end used one hour to wake up.. sayang me and ask me to jia you when i was really tired and frustrated with work.. play wii wif me at middle of late night so i wont feel so sleepy..

sometimes it was really late and he was really tired.. he would lie on the bed with red tired eyes and tell me he's not gonna sleep.. but in the end he did.. and i would turn around to notice him sleeping and smile.. feeling heart-warming at his efforts in trying to accompany and support me..

i miss his voice.. miss his smile.. miss his hugs.. miss everything about him..

3 weeks of holidays just went POOF and it's gone! this is the least enjoyable holiday for me except the fact dat we got some free time to catch up wif our sch work esp fyp..

speaking of fyp.. grinny still haven reply me regarding the review of our report! seriously can i noe wat is he doin?! izit so hard to just read thru and give us feedback so we can move on wif the editing and refining? seriously pissed off wif him! RARR

sch just started today and i'm totally not in the back-to-sch mood.. still feel like nua-ing at home and play wii wif dear.. we bought 8 games in msia and rip the files into the harddisk.. most of the games can play but a couple of games that dear like wont load.. awww.. =(( ..

got the rabbids 2 game which reminds me of the wii session at jessie's house wif my girls! it was super fun~ ^^

and i'm having pimple outbreak on my face!! ARGHHH!! damn it! be gone fast pimples! GRRR

and it's 1.17am now and i'm still sitting in front of my lappie reading the fyp report for refining and editing.. wat a sad life.. still got med micro report to do but luckily it was postponed to week 16 so still got abit of time.. tmr will be taking photos for our biosafety poster and next week is our oral presentation.. another essay to submit during week 16 and there's fyp report submission next week and preparation for the oral presentation!! i think i'll be DAMN FREAKING SUPREMELY nervous during the presentation.. hope it goes well!

looking at the list of my things to do i think i better stop procrastinating!! my baby eeyores are up supporting me~! HWAITING!!

been going back to sch lab to do our fyp report these few days.. stayed in the lab from morning 10am till 6pm and the tso was chasing us out coz the lab is closing..

10 Jan 2011 is the deadline for the softcopy submission.. and we still haven submit our complete first draft.. T.T ..

anyway.. some short updates! ptn outing at marina seoul garden = round round tummy~ dr tan joined us although he was sick (got good food who dowan right) tgt wif mr woo and 16 of us.. food is nice and i like the ice cream especially! oreo or cookies and cream or whatever it is.. yummy~

walked around abit after dat and we strolled until the octopus machines.. saw a cute eeyore and jan attempted to kiap it for me! took us 10 tries and with the help of the nice guy in charge we finally got it!!

jan's gan er zi! hahaha..

POLITE and IVP is near.. time to get some more training and lose some weight! LOL.. will be my last ivp representing SP.. sa~!

went to have seafood dinner with dear during my bday eve and had my favourite seafood crab!! =DD

this is the restaurant..

Bei Sheng seafood restaurant! it's located at chong pang..

recommend!! the uncle outside attending to customers is very friendly and nice! he even told us not to order big portion coz quite filling.. we made our orders outside while waiting for seats in the restaurant..

crowded although it was a wednesday night.. got our seats and waited for the food..

first up.. tom yum soup! the taste is not quite the usual tom yum we had.. but still quite nice! and this is only for $3!!!

next.. pineapple fried rice!! this big for $3 oso!!!!

and we had belacan kangkung.. $3 again!!!

then we walked around in vivocity and i bought tvxq's complete single a-side collection album with the money from the ang pau dear's mum gave me! =D .. loves!!

the songs are nice.. except that they are in japanese.. i dun really like them singing jap.. but still it's nice! =D

went to have dinner at The King Louis Grill & Bar..

it is located at 3rd floor of vivocity.. nice decorations and atmosphere! there's a view out which is just awesome! =)

kuromi is the rival of my melody (the pink rabbit).. she's a white rabbit wearing a black jester hat with a pink skull in front and has a devil tail in place of a normal rabbit's tail.. her bday is on the halloween..

although kuromi has a rowdy free spirit.. she is actually quite girly inside and has a soft spot for cute and handsome guys! haha..

hello peeps! back for a short update~

mst was over!! think i did ok for a few papers.. just worried bout cchem.. =x .. hope it isnt too bad..

after dat rested for 2 days before we start the actual run for our fyp (like FINALLY).. today is the last day for sample collection from acsi and sp swimming pools.. after dat left the biochemical tests and we're left with report and log books to chiong..

been walking to and fro acsi every morning and afternoon! the staircase at innovillage is a killer.. i think walk for one week my legs will be toned.. luckily we're just doing this for 3 days..

hope we can finish this fast so can focus on report! january is the deadlline so there isnt much time left.. =x

other than fyp there are lots of work pending oso.. datasheets and formal report and log book and oral presentation.. 3 weeks of holidays is actually not holidays at all.. =( .. luckily we did our datasheets early..

on the bright side.. tmr is my bday! =DD .. dear says will buy chilli crab for me.. hee.. ^^ .. and we'll be going out for dinner~ look forward! ^^

Charice Pempengco is a Filipino.. she's born in 1992.. 2 years younger than me.. and her voice is GODLIKE.. seriously.. her talent was spotted by Oprah Winfrey through the videos of her singing on Youtube.. check out her videos..

the resolution of the videos are not so good.. but trust me.. the voice is wonderful.. i have goosebumps everytime i listen to these songs.. EVERYTIME..

18th month anniversary + tai tai jacket!!

last friday was our 18th month anniversary~ ^^

dressed up nice nice and we went for a walk at sutera mall first.. den we went to George and Dragon cafe for our anniversary dinner.. =))

a very nice place for a romantic night out.. the onli bad thing is dat we forgot to bring our camera.. =(((((( .. onli use the camera phone to take the pictures..

the name of the cafe actually has a story..

it's about a brave man name George who killed the Dragon that terrorized some place in England to save the princess.. in the honour of his bravery and because he embodies the spirit of England he became England's patron saint.. the name George and Dragon represents England.. and the cafe is named this to represent "a little bit of England in JB"..

the decorations in the cafe are nice and classy and the atmosphere is good.. we were guided to a table for 2 and the waiter lit the candle on the table for us..

business in the cafe is good.. lots of ppl there.. a table behind us with around 10 ppl were making so much noise.. laughing and talking loud like nobody's business.. irritating..

but well.. didn't affect our good mood there.. placed our orders and took some photos while waiting..

FINALLY officially started our fyp hands on! WOOTS! lots of work to do and sometimes stayed till late.. but it feels good to be doing hands on instead of just intro intro and intro!

so far it's going smooth.. think ben yang is oso quite surprised that we progress so fast in this.. lol.. hopefully we can finish this fast den can focus on report liao..

school is boring as usual.. busy busy busy onli.. t11a 3rd floor is like our home already.. everytime break jiu go there.. lunch oso da bao go there eat.. can become our dorm liao..

weather's not so good recently.. sometimes hot like shit then the next moment pouring down hard.. been wanting to have my uniqlo jacket (i called it tai tai jacket) and dear said he gonna buy for me.. but ytd went to ion the whole series of dat jacket gone liao.. dunno y oso.. =(( .. so sad lo..

but nvm la.. maybe they will restock next time.. if dun have jiu find another nice jacket lor..

Aqua panic! also known as Downstream panic for some versions..

this game is quite fun! is basically a strategy puzzle game.. u gotta guide the fishes down to the sea without being eaten by predators.. u can use tools like bombs, harpoons and plants to help u.. need quite some brain work.. but is fun! there are total 80 levels.. so far i'm onli at level 19.. haha..

watched inception with dear last night.. the movie is NICE.. but need to focus to understand wat the movie is about..

school is hell so far.. workload coming in non-stop (and i really mean non stop!).. after clearing this assignment there's datasheet to do.. after finish log book there comes another presentation to prepare.. and our fyp materials have finally all arrived.. which means that we'll be much much more busier now!

deadline is january 2011.. better chiong liao! still gotta do report summore! @.@

so so busy until i dun even have time to do revision.. dammit..

anyway.. went to dragonfly on sat night wif dear, yu zhe, ying tong, xing de, wee kee and xiu yun.. first time went there.. although the songs are not so nice.. the live band there is awesome! and we saw slyvester sim! he's performing there at dragonfly currently..

there's a halloween costume competition going on there and a guy dressed up as a girl won.. he is damn hiao can! shou bu liao.. girls oso not as hiao as him.. haha.. but dunno if he won the grand final at boiler after dat.. winner get a phone as the prize..

stayed there until 2am den we went to boon tong kee at river valley to have chicken rice for supper.. nice food there~

home after dat.. by the time reach already 4am plus liao..

Day out wif dear's family

Out to tampines IKEA wif dear and his family yesterday~

many ppl there coz it was saturday.. the restaurant was crowded when we just reached.. walked around first.. as usual there are many nice and pretty things there.. cheap too! $_$ .. HAHA..

saw our favourite mattress and mattress pad there.. so gonna buy it next time! think everytime i lie on it i'll straight away go into lala land.. hee.. XD

saw a nice kitchen too! my future home will have a kitchen like dat~! hee.. think when cooking oso feel happy.. ^^

lots of things that we feel like buying while walking around.. i can roughly see how our future home will look like already.. hee.. ^^~ .. so gonna carry the whole IKEA back!!

had lunch at the restaurant after first round of shopping.. we ate damn lot.. 2 plates of 15-piece meatballs.. organic pasta.. 6-piece chicken wings.. nuggets plus fries and chocolate mousse with blueberry cheesecake as dessert!! so so full after dat.. but the food is nice!!

for those who have never tried IKEA meatballs before.. faster go now!! u wont regret it! heh heh.. but it's beef so those who cannot take beef jiu TOO BAD~ HAHAHA..

went down to ground floor and continue shopping.. was feeling that my contacts was blur since friday but din think much about it.. thought my short sightedness worsen le dat's y.. jie guo i found out actually i've been wearing my left contacts on my right and the right on my left for 2 days!! =_= (fyi my degree on both sides are different).. feel kinda dumb.. LOL..

by the time we're done shopping in IKEA the sky was dark already.. at first we still say gonna shopping centre hopping between IKEA, courts and giant.. well.. maybe next time.. =)

hopped on the shuttle bus from IKEA and went to tampines mrt to go for dinner at Geylang.. dim sum strongly recommended by dear's dad and sis..

the store is located at 126 Sims Avenue and is open 24 hours.. alot of webbies recommend this place for dim sum lovers too..

this is the place.. gotta walk a distance after alighting at aljunied mrt station..

the place is crowded.. but there are quite alot of seats available.. the food is good.. but i'm simply too full to enjoy it nicely.. the porridge is nice as well as many others la..

my car + tioman trip!

was driving dear, fat and cindy from customs back home when this happened.. 3 cars involved.. i'm the first.. the 3rd one crashed into the 2nd one with such force that the 2nd one crashed into mine until become like this.. T.T

my poor car~~~~~

went to the police station to take statement.. luckily i was the first car.. insurance all claim to the last one.. no need to pay anything..

but the msia police take their own sweet time do work.. till now the original statement and documents still haven finish typing.. we need the original one for the insurance and repairing lo.. stupid..

initially planned to drive up to mersing for the tioman trip with sptkd ppl.. but now car like this liao how to drive?

after much discussion.. we decided to take coach from larkin the next day morning.. so the next day we cab to larkin.. had mac for breakfast.. walked around abit and took the coach..

reached the bus station at mersing and we bought the ferry tix.. the ferry was quite nice.. big and air conditioned.. can watch ong bak3 oso.. haha..

finally reached panuba at around 2pm.. travelling used up so much time..

panuba inn resort actually has their own jetty.. quite cool.. but there's nothing much there..

the room is ok ok onli la.. got the necessaries like air con and hot water.. even got tv and a small fridge.. the thing we like most about the room is the view to the sea..

the food there wasn't dat good.. had a yucky lunch at their restaurant.. luckily their dinner still nice.. i like the bbq squid!! nice!

went snorkelling wif dear, fat and cindy during the evening.. the underwater scenary so much better than phi phi's one! just dat the wave so big that we kept kena swept back.. and during the late evening the water is full of dead leaves and twigs.. which is just disgusting to be swimming in the water..

so we went to watch the other fish at the jetty.. i tried fishing too! just got a few small fishes though.. they caught 2 bigger fish and we bbq them for dinner.. delicious! =D

night we went for sotong fishing at the jetty but din catch any.. sad.. =(

slept till 10am the next day and get ready to go back.. short trip only.. ferry and bus back again.. then slept for half a day..

hope my car can be sent for repairing soon..

oh and results are out!! super happy with my sem gpa.. but sad when i see my cumulative.. last sem left.. shall work hard!! chiong!!!!!

we bought a muay thai thingy for my xiao hu too! cool eh? hehe..

bought a muay thai piglet for dear's sis as well.. =)

after dat we 昏睡 for 18 hours.. skipped meals and all.. just slept till the next day morning.. haha..

overall this is a great trip! my first time at thailand and enjoyed it very very much! will definitely go back again.. and next time we will spend more time relaxing at patong beach.. will parasail as well!

Day 3

Rested well and we're charged for another day!

went to Jungceylon again.. had lunch at KFC there..

dear's spicy roasted chicken rice

and my green curry rice.. both are nice! this is one good thing about KFC.. they always have different meals to try at diff countries..

had their shrimp stix and shrimp ring also..

their drinks are so huge! we 2 person cant even finish 1 cup..

after dat i went to have a nice massage!

i got myself the back and shoulder massage while dear went for a walk at Jungceylon.. cost 300 baht = SGD13.1

the massage was nice! i will say it is quite painful.. but hey.. this is wat massage is about right.. u wont wan to pay the money to have someone putting oil and just touching ur skin..

satisfied with the massage.. although i would have enjoyed it more if not for my sun burnt skin.. truly pampered myself during this trip!! ^^~

dear was waiting for me at the lobby when i walked down.. and he got a surprise for me!!

for sale in thailand only!! and the factory is at bangkok.. so gonna buy them all when i go bangkok next time!!!

went for a walk at Jungceylon again and saw quite alot of baby eeyores there!! din buy all though.. bought another bolster! ah bi!! the bui bui eeyore is so so cute! dear insist dat i shouldnt count this as an eeyore coz it is a bolster.. X[

was on our way back when we saw this 100 baht shop! not very attractive and u gotta look around abit to notice it..

lots of shirts inside with just the price of 100 baht = SGD 4.36!!!

we bought 9 shirts and 1 sundress for myself..

den we went back to the hotel and get changed for Fantasea!

just nice when we reached the lobby the driver was there asking for us d.. just in time! luckily he din run away..

this is the place!

it is huge! a must go at phuket! we got the package of the show + buffet dinner + round trip transfer for 1900 baht = SGD83 per pax.. worth the money!

phuket fantasea is located at Kamala Beach.. just 9km from patong.. the whole place is made up of a few parts = Golden Elephant Cavern (box office), Magic Mountain (main entrance), Carnival Village (shopping paradise), Hanuman's Lair (Entertainment centre and tiger jungle adventure), Viva Bangkok (stage theater), The Golden Kinnaree (buffet restaurant) and Palace of the Elephants (main theater)..

there are lots of shops and stalls there selling souvenirs like clothes and bags and lots more.. we went into the tiger jungle adventure place for a walk.. free entry..

saw quite a few animals there.. got toads, some goat-like animal, snakes, parakeets and this!

walked around in carnival village and took lots of photos.. the scenery there was nice.. weather was good too! =)

see that grand building behind the fountain? dat's the Palace of the Elephants.. which is the main theater of the place.. the architecture is damn nice! pretty.. and the building is large! we were stunned by the sight of it..

there are elephant rides for tourists as well.. gotta pay for it and they will give u a large photo of u on the elephants as well..

this is The Golden Kinnaree.. where the buffet dinner is..

the place is huge as well! the food is quite nice.. dear had a 2nd helping of spagetti.. i was o.O when i saw him coming back with a big plate of it.. HAHA..

they even provide desserts like cendol and mini cakes.. u can also order wine or cocktails or beer from the menu on the table.. they charge u for it though..

the show starts at 9pm so after dinner we proceed into the theater.. the walls of the corridors leading towards the main hall has lots of photos of celebrities or politicians on it.. we saw DBSK de photo!!! should've taken a picture with it! aiyaa..

there are also baby tigers, elephants and ppl dressed up in tribal costumes for tourists to take photos with.. they'll print it out and u can purchase it at the end of the show..

cameras are not allowed in the theater.. so we went to queue up to deposit our camera at the counter before going in..

the show was nice! it's like a mix of circus and musical and dance and magic show at the same time! there was this lead elephant dat was pooping during the show! the spotlight was on him summore! he was walking across the stage and there were balls of poop dropping off from his backside! we LOL..

another scene was almost at the end of the show.. suddenly we hear a splashing sound.. at first i thought is coz they were moving some props.. den we saw this small elephant standing at the side peeing!

the pee was like the water gushing out from a shower head.. the person beside the elephant chop chop put a big pail underneath to fill the pee.. which made us laugh even more!

the show was around 1 hour and 15 mins.. i would say it is more worth than phi phi tour.. =)

transferred back to our hotel by their van.. we showered and made our own spa!

frangipani bath salt.. nice scent! we even put in the rose petals pluck from the ones i bought for my love.. ^^

had a nice soak in the bathtub while my xiao hu is practicing muay thai..

it was so comfortable dat i fell asleep in the bathtub.. LOL.. but not for long la.. coz we gotta wake up and prepare to check out d.. =((

Day 2

woke up early in the morning and prepare ourselves for phi phi tour..

had the hotel's buffet breakfast..

pancake and french toast with sausage and ham.. the pancake was nice!

dear's sleepy look.. he had fried kuey teow.. pancake still rocks!

went back to lobby and wait for our driver.. he came on time.. we were the first 2 passengers of the day..

our driver! dun play play ok.. he is 车神 lai de!! zoom here and there on our way to the pier.. patong 车神!!

after around half an hour plus we reached the pier!

got abit of time to hang out around the pier till the departure time of the speedboats.. quite alot of shops there.. we almost bought a waterproof camera there.. but because it only can take 27 photos and is non reusable.. we decided to save money for those better ones..

time for us to board the speedboat and start our trip~!

Phi Phi is divided into 2 islands - Phi Phi Ley and Phi Phi Don.. our first stop was Maya Bay of Phi Phi Ley island..

the beach was full of people! this is where the movie "The Beach" was partially filmed (we have no idea wat movie is this though).. Leonardo Dicaprio was the main actor in this movie..

we stopped here for 30 mins for sightseeing and swimming.. took a few photos and went for a dip in the sea.. so many ppl there it was so crowded..

next stop was Loh Samah Bay at Phi Phi Ley as well.. we get to snorkel and feed fishes there.. the water was clear but most of the corals were dead.. lots of sea urchins as well! (shudders)

that was the first time dear went snorkelling! too bad the underwater scenery wasnt so pretty.. nvm next time i bring u to nicer places k love? =)

after snorkelling we went for some sightseeing at Pileh Cove and Viking Cave..

then we moved on to the monkey beach at Phi Phi Don island.. as the name implies the beach is full of monkeys!

we got a piece of banana each to feed the monyets..

snatch thief alert!! i was feeding the monkey in front the the one from behind just grabbed my hand and took the banana away!

hang out at the beach for awhile and we went to have lunch at Phi Phi Don..

our lunch.. not buffet style.. the waiters served the food to each table.. overall the food is quite nice.. ate full full and we went to have a walk at the place.. full of shops as well.. the weather was so so hot dat day.. good weather for a day out at the beach and islands though.. =)

anybody wanna have some bread from PEE PEE Bakery? homemade one u noe!

after having lunch and rest enough.. we went for the final stop of the tour.. Khai Nai island..

this is the place.. watermelons and pineapple slices were provided and we get to do our own activities like sunbathing.. snorkelling.. swimming.. and exploring..

as usual more photos on fb.. i haven upload though.. haha..

not a nice place to snorkel either.. think the tourism has already damage the place too much.. dear and i gave up after 15 mins.. lots of urchins there oso! yucks!

so we went walking around the island under the super hot sun.. saw a few small crabs making sand-balls on our way.. piles of them! the crabs were rolling the sand into balls and pushing the ready made one behind and started rolling the next one.. we guess they were trying to compete who can make the most.. lol..

the island is not big.. around 15 mins can walk one round.. din take many photos here coz we din bring the camera down.. lots of ppl were sunbathing.. there are bars on the island too.. we just sat at a shaded area and drink iced peach tea..

finally it's time to go back.. we went back to Chalong Bay and 车神 sent us back to our hotel again..

after bathing and some resting we went out again..

i was determined not to continue my ah lian look so we went to a salon to dye my hair back to a darker shade.. had my first mani and pedi at the salon too!

rock lobster termidor.. which is cray fish meat baked with garlic mushrooms and cheese.. quite nice.. first time i had cray fish!

the whole meal cost us 780 baht = SGD 34..

walked back to our hotel after dinner and went to sleep early..

we're back from phuket!!

here's wat happened during our trip!

Day 1

excitedly went to Changi Airport!

way at the bottom.. we reached very early.. haha

went to the departure area after processing our documents.. this is the first time i go overseas other than singapore!! EXCITED!!

had a very bad headache during landing.. not the first time.. wonder why.. dat was a terrible one.. =(( .. hurts even when i reach the hotel..

phuket international airport

i was hungry!! was looking at the menu and my stomach grumbling throughout the flight..

there are buses waiting to send us to the arrival hall when we reached coz the place was kinda far.. good service from airasia.. =)

this is their arrival hall.. we 2 kukus din take their white card and straight away went to the counter to check passport..

after much asking around.. we finally fill our cards and went to the counter again.. they took a photo of us with a webcam.. was abit pissed with the system so my photo was my dulan face.. HAHA

once we went out from the arrival hall the tour agencies there pounched on us like hungry wolves.. we were still blur after reaching and they were talking non stop introducing us to the packages..

booked the phi phi and fantasea packages from the 2nd company.. better price.. =)

oh if u guys are looking for a good price for money exchange.. we recommend u all to go to lucky plaza at orchard! their rates are much higher than those outside and u gotta ask around to get a better rate..

we exchanged our SGD to thai baht for 22.9 rate conversion.. much better than those 22.2 outside!

booked a taxi earlier on and the driver was there waiting with a paper with my name on it.. should've taken a photo.. wasted..

the ride from airport to our hotel took around 1 hour.. we were playing psp on our way there..

reached Rayaburi Hotel.. lovely hotel although it doesnt have a grand entrance.. pretty reception area and they even served us fruit punch when we were checking in! good first impression..

lovely room as well! just right for us and the design is pretty.. exceed our expectations for the price we paid (1650 baht = SGD 72 per night).. it is just few minutes away from the beach and the facilities are good!

we booked our hotel online through this webbie - AsiaWebDirect.com.. recommend this webbie to u guys! their customer service is fast and efficient.. and they personally read through ur emails instead of using automated computer system.. thumbs up!

we also recommend u guys not to book so early if u're going during the non peak season as they offer latestay prices sometimes! which is much cheaper as well!

i'm thinking of creating a travel and food blog! will do so in the future when i have the time! =D

this is our first meal of the whole day! microwaved rice from 7-11 in thailand! HAHA.. it's nice! smells great too!

after changing and some resting.. off we went to explore the place!

speed boats for rent

this is wat happen when u over bleached ur hair!! golden! i look like an ah lian! >.< mac in thailand!

i guess everyone knows wat massage means in thailand!

went to have a walk at patong's famous bangla road that is full of THOSE bars and pubs if u get wat i mean.. still early so the street wasnt so hectic..

a fat dog we saw on our way! we named it ah bui! HAHA

walked along and we reached Jungceylon shopping centre.. which is the major shopping centre in patong..

prices there aren't dat cheap.. around SGD prices as well.. however if u go to the basement.. the stuffs there are quite cheap.. dear got a nice pair of shades for 150baht = SGD 6.55..

there're no tinkerbell stuffs in phuket! apparently thais dunno who tinker is..

this is the only one we saw that has a tinker! though i dun see how it links to the bar.. HAHA

and we got lost in the streets of patong! din noe how to walk back to our hotel.. walked back and fro for dunno how many times till we were pek cek and tired! (we onli had the shared microwaved rice throughout the whole day!)..

bought this banana nutella pancake to replenish our energy.. nice!

after eating and drinking we felt better and start to find our way back again.. luckily we had a map of patong with us.. if not dunno wat time will we get back.. probably will get on a tuk tuk and go back..

finally reached our hotel after walking for 1 hour plus.. so touched when we saw our hotel sign..

after resting and researching for makan places in the hotel.. we were off again to hunt for dinner!

went to this place that are full of seafood stalls by the road.. and we chose this stall called cocoa-nut..

more customers here and looks more attractive.. (omg my ah lian hair)

had their fried calamari rings.. fresh and Q.. the sauce is nice too!

tom yum gong.. not too spicy and sour.. dear said this is the best tom yum soup he ever tasted!

stir fried chicken in chili sauce..

overall the food is good! we paid 490 baht = SGD 21.4 for a delicious dinner.. =D

went to walk at bangla road again.. the neon lights of all the pubs were up and the place was lively.. gogo bars with girls (some dat we're not sure are girls or not) dancing on the bar tops.. irritating people holding boards about "shows" in the pubs and keep asking tourists to go.. lots of ang mohs dat were smiling and looking at the sexy girls dancing.. and of course many shops and some makan places as well..

after walking around for some time.. we went back to hotel again and recharged ourselves for tomorrow's activity..

the beginning of holidays!

suddenly feel like blogging.. nothing much happened.. just need to type i think.. lol..

this is the supposedly-exam-but-we-alr-finish-ours week.. holidays but seems like alot of things to do.. the major one is fyp of course.. kinda worried about it.. coz we are progressing so so slowly.. not sure how many materials arrived alr.. and our atcc and water test kit still not settled..

4 weeks of holidays.. hope we can finish by this hols and proceed on with the report.. our fyp had not been so smooth till now.. hope it wont get worse.. =_=

jan did most of the peng-ing while i was busy snapping photos using mine and jan's dslr..

jan asked me to take a decent photo for her coz her fren wants one.. end up become like this.. messy hair!

to past time dear and i went to watch resident evil..

nice movie.. din watch the first few though.. the virus thingy is disgusting.. but got one male actor very handsome.. HAHA.. XD

back to watch pvp finals after dat.. den went for lucky spin.. my luck is super lan4.. pui pui.. lucky still got 2 w-coin..

den went to take our goodie bag.. magnets are out of stock so we din get it.. so stupid right.. den wat is the early bird event for?? waste our time onli..

din get anything from lucky draw either.. very disappointed about the whole event.. dragonica is just trying to make ppl spend money.. next time got such event we wont go anymore..

but got one nice guy whom camp tgt wif us early morning super lucky.. 5 prices from the lucky draw itself.. and he gave us 1 woodie plushie since he got 3.. haha.. ^^~

just reached home and bathed.. dear just use his w-coin for the big wheel and got me a yellow dotted cardigan~! damn pretty! ^^~ .. so happy.. he should've spin the lucky spin today!

gonna do some research on phuket before going.. gonna shop shop shop there! =DD

exams are officially over!!!!! WOOHOO!!! so so happy.. last few days studied till face green green.. thanks dear dear for accompanying me to study late and take good care of me during the exam period~ *MUAKSZ* ^^

lets hope i did alright in the exams..

kk some updates!! din take part in nationals coz of exams.. din went for the first day of competition oso.. sorry to those who were fighting dat day.. well done for those who got medals.. and good luck to those fighting this weekend! we'll go support.. =D

and this exams is really making me fat!! >.< .. ate so so much when i'm mugging.. gotta train back into shape! if not dear dear always pinch my bui bak! hmph hmph! X[ dear bought me 2 baby eeyores to support me during the mugging time~ thanks honey! =D introducing little bu ding! this is his fren gui zai! he is the smallest eeyore i got now!

just the size of a contact lens casing!! hahas..

yesterday right after exams dear and i went to woodlands library to borrow some books! looking at those ppl mugging hard made me feel damn happy.. XD

this marks the end of exams!! so so happy to see all these books! and dat's my new baby eeyore xiao you!

dragonica's sch holiday exp boost was making me so pissed! it started last week when i still gotta mug! those that were lower level than me de all so much higher liao! T.T .. still got 2 days.. chiong ah!!

fyp materials start to arrive alr! we just got 4 of our materials.. hopefully the rest will arrive soon so we can start! we're lagging behind so so much.. even the lab tso asked us y we haven start! >.<

went to jb wif dear and family today.. and saw janice!! she was going wif her family oso and we went at the same time! this is the mo qi we got after being classmates for 3 years! ````

she and her family went jusco tebrau and dear's family and i walked around in cs.. wanted to catch a movie at first but cs movie system down!! wth right.. never seen this kinda thing before.. raya liao the system oso ba gong! they had to manually print the movie timing all and paste in front of the counter.. and the seats oso given manually on paper.. and u onli can queue for the time next time slot.. say 12.40.. if u wan those timing later than this u gotta wait till they finish this current one and print out the next time slot onli can buy..

wanted to watch resident evil but the queue was just too long! so we end up din watch and went for lunch.. lunch was at wang jiao hk cafe..

food sucks!! pui pui.. dun wanna go there eat anymore.. next time i'll drive dear's family and bring them makan hao liao!! =DD

walked around and shop in cs after lunch.. saw this pretty bag and i wan it so badly! at first wanna save money and dun buy.. in the end i still surrender.. hahaha.. and dear's mum pay it for me!! lots of love to dear's mummy~! love this bag!! ^^~~~~~

walked around summore and we went to pasar kia to have peng fish for dinner.. the usual one me and my family always went.. food is good and price is cheap.. nice dinner!

back here after dat.. dear and i straight away chiong into battlesquare! haha..

stupid tcmd assignment!!! whole class spent 2 whole days finding the gene specific for E.coli O157.H7 and nobody finds it!! information regarding the software and the assignment is so vague we din even noe wat to do.. luckily today we went to ask dr tan and he is helpful enough to teach us how to do and gave us useful information.. thanks dr tan!!

and after hours of primer picking and nucleotide blasting.. we finally found one gene that is 100% specific for O157!! woots!!!

now wat's left are the writing up.. yeah! been worrying bout this assignment since the start of holidays coz dunno how to do..

yesterday was wii session at jessie's house and makan at 85 after dat.. wii is fun!! raving rabbids are so damn cute!! played mario cart and wii sports too.. tennis wif jan.. baseball wif bird and boxing wif swi!! hahaha.. played till i sweat.. and the wario wat game jess recommended me is fun too.. i play till dun wanna stop.. haha..

dinner at 85 is nice.. we all ate till damn full.. we should have more sessions like this girls!! =D

ndp is finally over.. dear finally can have his weekends back.. but going back gedong is a sien-to-the-max thing! jia you dear dear!! 10 more months to go!! =D

now gonna do the writing up for the assignment so i can have peace in my mind without having to worry bout due-d work! but after this still got more things to worry bout.. fyp (which we have not yet STARTED at all).. blood bank write up.. quizs after the hols and semestral exams!! @.@

yog holidays just started.. still got lots of work and things to study.. but at least got more time and can relax..

after all these continuous studying and work.. i think i deserve a good rest.. zzz..

training is at halt due to the workload.. gonna go soon when i got time.. haha..

3 weeks holidays ahead!! cant slack too much.. dun wanna chiong last min till become panda.. haha..

had a bday celebration for my dad the previous monday.. went to secret recipe to order a cake made up from 12 different slices of cakes.. nice!! =D

alright.. time to go play dragonica!! after dat will go for a swim.. nice weather to do so.. =)

and i think i'll be blogging more often now dat i got more time!! hopefully.. hahaha..

cyto report is seriously killing me..

the information for the assignment is so vague.. we din even noe wat exactly to write.. we gotta do so much research just to write an intro.. mr yong said will post the photos of FISH on blackboard and it's still not there yet.. we need it for our results i think.. the format he want doesn't include discussion.. but wat is a report without discussion??

deadline is tmr.. yea i'm so dead..

cyto quiz was bad.. 50% and i totally screwed it.. damn this workload.. hope i wont get a C for this.. haix..

2 more quizes on the way for this coming week.. i wanna faster finish this report and study in peace..

the world seem to have crumbled.. and it feels like a nightmare.. u wanna wake up from it so badly.. but it just dun seem to go ur way..

memories never seem to hurt so much.. even the smallest thing around u can make ur eyes wet.. no more motivation to do anything.. u just wanna sit there and stone.. let ur mind drift.. even though there's only one person u're thinking about..

it's never easy.. and it takes alot of time.. i understand how u feel.. so i'll just let u do wat u wan.. this is the process of growing up.. this is the process of learning..

but dun worry.. i'll keep an eye on u.. make sure u dun do anything too silly.. we all will.. coz we're FRIENDS.. =)

when everything else fails.. remember we're always here for u.. give u a piece of tissue paper.. lend u a shoulder to lean on.. stay by ur side quietly.. and listen to everything dat u wanna say.. u dun have to pretend everything is alright.. coz we noe it isn't..

1 presentation 1 quiz done.. no more cyto except for the quiz this friday and a short formal report to hand in by this week.. gems is done and next week is the final lesson for assignment submission.. whoever not present next week the whole group must come back after yog to hand in the assignment tgt.. seriously the teacher is so irritating..

despite all these.. there's still an individual presentation due tmr.. i'm so not prepared for it.. haven do the slides and all.. next tues another histo quiz.. followed by histo group presentation and hema quiz.. a primer essay to be submitted during the yog break.. and one more histo quiz after the break..

hopefully our materials will arrive soon so we can start the fyp dry run during the yog period.. if not after dat is semestral exam d and we wont have much time..

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. save me.. @.@

but one good thing is dat lessons are fewer now coz most of the lecturers have already finish teaching the syllabus..

went for a field trip with my classmates and mr fraser to sg blood bank yesterday.. volunteered to have a blood donation and my hb just passed the acquired level! woots!!

super excited coz it was the first time i donated blood.. got the iron tablets and the nice pink bandage after the donation..

hopefully the blood can get to save some ppl's life.. =)

jan cant donate coz she's underweight.. she's pretty upset about it.. go eat more!! next time we go tgt.. =)

super cant wait for my vacation after all these work!! lets go now my love!! haha..

lots and lots of work recently!!

assignments and tests plus fyp as well!! fyp planning is seriously making my white hair grow more! (although i dun have any).. hahaha..

in a few weeks time there's gonna be sooo many tests! presentations plus quizes.. skits to be recorded for gems.. log books and reports.. plus we gotta be ready for our dry run during YOG period.. which means we gotta chop chop settle our materials and methods in a few weeks time.. den after YOG will be a few more tests and semestral exam..

@.@ .. i'm so looking forward to my superbly wonderful vacation after the exams..

i learnt how to drive the new car le!! plus the big car as well.. gotta practice more for parking coz i'm not used to the broader car..

i like driving!! =D

OH AND MY DAD BOUGHT A DSLR LAST WEEK!!!!!!!!

it's nikon d5000.. i just got to try to use it today and it really amazes me that there are so many settings and functions and effects! i love the shutter sound dat makes me feel so pro!! HAHA

i'm not gonna throw my canon camera aside though.. dslr can be troublesome in carrying around.. so depending on the situation i'll choose which camera to use.. =))

sis was back last week and we went for a family outing!!

first thing in the morning of coz is have a good breakfast..

yummy yummy dim sum..

off we go!

after hours of sitting in the car..

we're here at ipoh!

after travelling for so long.. we're carving for some good food!!

had their famous ya cai ji..

fat fat ya cai..

smooth and tender chicken!! nice!

den we went to get some local delights!

big store wif lots and lots of local titbits and stuff..

bought a box of food and went to check in the hotel..

rest for awhile den continue our food hunt for dinner!

found this nice yong tau hu place..

dad teaching my mum how to use a videocam (which she has absolutely no idea how to)..

went back to hotel and call it a day..

next morning went food hunt again!

found this kopitiam online which the person highly recommended for their curry mee..

toast wif half boiled egg on it..

and of coz their famous white coffee!! the coffee is too concentrated for my liking though..

den we went to find a strawberry dessert shop we saw online..

after many twists and turns.. we finally found it..

a very healthy meal.. haha..

went for a walk at pasar malam there and bought alot of corns and strawberry products..

back to the hotel and zzz..

next morning we went to the strawberry farm..

veggie farm there as well..

took 2 baskets and went to pick our own strawberries!!

we were the first family dat morning.. haha..

next is the tea plantation!

nothing much there but nice scenery.. the sun is up high and it was kinda hot..

this was our last stop in cameron.. planned to go bukit tinggi but we were running out of time.. so skipped dat and went to muar..

stayed another night there and home sweet home the next day..

had an early father's day celebration (as well as mother's day for my sis) at our usual korean restaurant..

had an early one week of holidays coz our exams are all pushed forward.. woots!!! for the first time i like my course's schedule!!! ^^

fraser's quizes are generally ok.. tcmd essay done at last min.. the test was ok too.. gems assignment just anyhow bomb.. almost run out of time writing the analysis.. and telephone skills on fri was ok i guess? hope so la..

dear came over msia during the weekend.. was out shopping when we saw this..

just finished fyp discussion online with jan and bb.. took us 5 hours to finish discussing all the problems and decide on wat to do.. this EASY project doesn't seem to be so easy anymore.. alot of things to plan on our own.. and there isn't much info available..

it's a relief when we finally finish discussing and setting the time and date for our next meeting.. jan missed her hk drama coz of this dicsussion and i din play ps2 AT ALL!!! arghhhh!! i must play tmr!!!!!

hope ben yang thinks our plan is alright.. =) .. coz i'll kill him if he says our plans suck.. grrrr..
